RON BOSSE | BIOGRAPHY

A graduate of Boston’s prestigious Berklee College of Music, guitarist, composer and educator Ron Bosse has achieved national recognition for his work, and has been cited in such widely read publications as Jazz Times MagazineThe Boston Globeand The New York Times. In 1994 Ron was voted “Outstanding Guitarist” by Guitar Player Magazine who then went on to call him “...a master in the making.”

As founder and artistic director of “Next Level Jazz”- an ongoing concert series  dedicated to bringing musicians of the highest caliber together in new and unique settings, Ron has produced over 400 concerts at various venues throughout the U.S and Canada. As part of this series he has performed with some of the world’s greatest jazz  musicians including Bob Mintzer, Dave Liebman, George Garzone, Rick Margitza, Gary Thomas, Jerry Bergonzi and Bob Moses. Ron has performed at numerous festivals and jazz clubs throughout the U.S and Canada.

In 2004, Ron founded the Bosse School of Music (BSM) in Weymouth, MA. As the premier school for the study of contemporary music on the south shore, BSM has assembled a first rate faculty, and attracted a vibrant student body. BSM has attracted international talent for its ongoing masterclass series including jazz guitar legend Pat Martino, Berklee Professor and Mel Bay authors Jon Finn & Bret Willmott and Boston Symphony Percussionist Will Hudgins. Ron holds a Bachelor of Music Degree in Professional Music from Berklee College of Music.
